Paintless Dent Repair
Most damage can be repaired with paintless dent repair (PDR) if the color surface is intact. PDR works on steel and aluminum panels, commonly used for fixing door dings, large dents, minor creases, and hail damage.
Factors affecting PDR include paint type, metal stretch, thickness, and the shape of the damaged area. Shallower dents are more likely to be successfully repaired. Even dents a few centimeters wide can be fixed if the paint and metal aren't stretched or scratched. Experienced specialists can often restore shallow dents or creases to near perfection.
